Winners announced for the annual Master’s theses competition among the MSSES alumni

Every year, MSSES organises a Master’s theses competition among the School’s alumni. The competition is conducted in two stages:
  • structural subdivisions select theses for the competition (faculty/department);
  • the expert commission determines winners.

2021 Winners:
  • Y. L. Vladimirova. “Romani Public Organisations in Contemporary Russia: Political Agency in the Context of Structural Discrimination” (Faculty of Political Science, ‘World Politics’ programme)
  • K. O. Antonyuk. “Derivative Suits in Russian Corporate Law and Arbitration (Arbitral Proceedings)” (Faculty of Law)
  • G. A. Krichevsky. “Interpretation of Étienne de La Boétie’s speech ‘On Voluntary Servitude’ from the perspective of the theory of aesthetic policy” (Faculty of Political Science, ‘Political Philosophy’ programme)

Each winner will receive a prize of 100,000 rubles.

A prerequisite for competition winners is the publication of the main conclusions from their Master’s theses in leading academic publications included in the HAC list (Higher Attestation Commission) or in publications indexed in Web of Science or Scopus, or as a chapter in a collective monograph.
