In 2019, MSSES was ranked seventh, and in 2020, it rose to sixth place. In 2021, the intake in MSSES almost doubled, so the School ranked up once again.

HSE University’s study has been carried out since 2010 under the guidance of Yaroslav Kuzminov and Maria Dobryakova (HSE Institute of Education). The monitoring reflects not only the enrolled applicants’ quality of knowledge but also the universities’ reputations. The quality of admission is evaluated based on the average USE score of the applicants enrolled.
