We invite you to attend our IELTS preparation course which covers Academic Reading and Academic Listening modules. The course is intended for prospective MSSES students, current MSSES students, and anyone who wishes to improve their English proficiency level.
The course attendees will have the opportunity to take the IELTS test, the results of which can be counted as part of the entrance exams during admission to MSSES graduate or retraining programmes.
The course is intended for those with 5.0 or lower level on the IELTS scale, so the attendees will have to determine their level for Academic Reading and Listening modules beforehand by taking a free online practice test (60 minutes on reading and 30 minutes on listening) on the British Council’s website IELTS Free Practice Tests. Please note that you need to take the IELTS Academic Module test. You can’t use dictionaries or exceed the allocated time limit when taking the test. Then you should check your answers by comparing them with the keys and then convert them into IELTS scale. If the score received is 5.0 or lower, you can apply for the course by stating your score.
