Behavioral Economics: Economics and psychology of decision making

This is the partnership program of two universities -- RANEPA (faculty of Economics) and the Moscow School of Social and Economic Sciences (faculty of Practical Psychology) with validation from the University of Manchester (UK). The Faculty of Economics of RANEPA provides economic training of the students and the Faculty of Practical Psychology of MSSES ensures psychological training.

At the end of the program our graduates receive:

  • State Master's Diploma in Economics (RANEPA)
  • Advanced training Diploma of the School of Social and Economic Sciences under the program "Psychology of decision-making in management"
  • Diploma of Master of Arts in Counseling (The University of Manchester, UK)

Duration: 2 years.
Form of training: full-time; evening (from 19-00 to 22-00).

Behavioral economics emerged as the fusion of economics and psychology. The program "Behavioral Economics: Economics and psychology of decision making" is designed for those who like psychology and economics, who is interested in how people make decisions, how our cognitive processes work, what are the ways for predicting and analyzing human behavior in everyday life and in business activities, how this information helps to increase one's own capital and the capital of the company.

To enter the program the basic economic or psychological education is not required. The program is built in such a way that if you come from an area not related to the economy You will be able to choose elective courses focused on economics and fill the lack of basic education. If, on the contrary, you come from the economic field, You will be offered a set of disciplines related to psychology and management.

This Master's program will be of interest to economists who want to grow in career and build their own business, psychologists and sociologists seeking to improve in psychology of labor, organizational and economic psychology, managers, PR and marketing specialists wishing to competently analyze and forecast Consumer activity in the market.
