The library was founded in 1994 simultaneously with the Moscow School of Social and Economic Sciences.
The main aims of the library are to provide effective informational support, to facilitate the study and research activities of the Moscow School, and to offer a wide range of library services using the most current technologies.
The library of the Moscow School was designed and implemented in accordance with domestic and Western standards of informational support for academic education, serving primarily as a center for acquiring knowledge. The whole library is located in a single building, but divided into various functional zones for reading literature, working on computers, holding consultations and stuff meetings, conducting searches in the electronic catalogue, etc.
The main aim of the library functionally is to provide open access to all resources.
The library is closed on Sundays and holidays.
